When my three sisters and I were little girls our mother made many of our special dresses. The Easter pictures were evidence of hours of sewing and hand embroidery or smocking. She did beautiful work. She passed that love of sewing to me and I made my first dress when I was 12 years old. I've enjoyed creating ever since. (And that's a LOT of years!)
